The colleges are permanently affiliated to Kathmandu university and fully recognized by the Medical Council of Nepal, Sri Lankan Medical Council, General medical Council of Great Britain (UK),  Medical Council of India and enlisted in the WHO’s World Directory of Medical Schools. 

 The Programme

The course duration is 4 1/2 years consisting of basic medical sciences in the first two years and 2 1/2 years of Clinical subjects. The MBBS batch commences every year, from the month of November and  course of study is divided into three phases; in addition to a year of compulsory rotating internship. After passing the final MBBS examination, the student is required to under go one year period of compulsory Rotary internship as per the rules and regulations of Kathmandu University and Nepal Medical council Thus the total duration of the program is five and half years. The College would be training and preparing its students for the United States Medical Licensure Examination (USMLE) as part of the MBBS curriculum.
